WFMW: Groupon

Have you used this site yet? I know, I know, it has been out for a bit, you probably have! But in the off chance that you haven’t, you should! It is amazing!
Groupon is daily coupons for local and national businesses that are catered to your metro area. The deal of the day gets emailed to you and if they have enough people buy the item of the day, the deal is on. Therefore, the more you tell others about the deals and they buy, the more likely you are to score a good deal. Not only that! But you earn referral money for recruiting others to a deal or to http://www.groupon.com/r/uu1869816. It is awesome!

I was skeptical at first but jumped in when there were canvas prints on sale for $45, regularly over $130. And Monday I scored a $100 gift card to Picaboo picture books for $25, well actually only $15 after I cashed in a referral that I had. And if there isn’t a Groupon listed for your area? Don’t worry, they have deals in other cities that you can use right where you are at. Like the Picaboo books for example. I am in Dayton, Ohio but the deal was in Little Rock Arkansas, no problem, I can still buy it.

Amazing! I am going to go ahead and get started on Christmas presents for the year. Nothing like getting Christmas shopping done before Halloween!

I LOVE saving money. If you do to, don’t miss out on Groupon!

That is so funny because I literally just got a deal forwarded from a friend (family portraits in Columbus) and I was wondering “is this groupon thing worth it?” I think I’m going to join.

  2. I’ve bought waterpark passes this year and those bikes for around the lakes this year too. My kids LOVE biking around the lake and this made it very affordable!! Thanks!

There are two more that you should know about-BuyWithMe is local/regional, and Jasmere is for everyone. Every day Jasmere has something new, but it’s only good for that day. On Friday, you have until Monday to decide if you want that particular deal.
