What really BUGS me about summer!

I love the summer! I love that we can go to the park, go to the pool, stay out late and it still be light out. But the one thing that really gets my blood boiling -Mosquitoes! I must have a neon sign on top of my head that says “Best Meal in Town”, because they are drawn to me. I can be out no more than 5 minutes and have them swarming!
More then the way the bite feels, I hate the way the bites look! There is something about seeing bites up my leg makes me think I should be wearing jean cutoffs, drinking a beer while watching tractor races. Okay, I apologize to all of you that might enjoy farm activities like that, but that image always pops into my mind when I see bites on me.
So I have decided I should buy stock in “OFF” since I have enough bottles so that I can have one on the back porch, one in each stroller and one in each diaper bag! I can be a little over the top at times, I admit!
But one of these days, we will probably hear that the spray is a whole lot worse than West Nile Virus, and I will have to make a decision – West Nile or make myself a nice pair of cutoffs and buy myself a tractor?
I may not have to compromise, I could buy myself a full length netting outfit like the one below? I could start a trend, don’t you think?
i have started using listerine on the deck outside our door. Thus far it is working and I don’t have to worry about getting bit whenever I get the chance to sit in my rocker and enjoy the air. Also we use vanilla scented lotions when hiking and that has really helped us too. Just a couple of things that might be an option so to avoid the poisonous OFF or other things with a young one about.
