Are you a person that likes to see the menus visually? Perhaps you should check out the February 2013 Whole Foods Menu via Pinterest to see the yummy goodness you will be cooking up on this menu. Not sure what Pinterest is all about, check out what Once A Month Mom has to say about it.
Test Cooks
Each month we have some wonderful volunteers who “test” out the menu prior to publication. They do an amazing job of helping to eliminate confusion and mistakes. They may not catch everything but they sure do catch A LOT! If you are interested in test cook, feel free to volunteer. Here is a little bit about this month’s test cooks:
- Stacey Whitaker - I am a stay-at-home mom and military wife who loves to cook. However, our busy schedule and my husband’s unpredictable one make freezer cooking vital to keeping our home running smoothly. In my free time, I enjoy exploring Alaska and running story time at our base library.
- Christine Gannon - She is a part-time nursing student who enjoys spending time with her husband and three cats when she is not in class or at work. While cooking once a month can be a daunting task, she finds it to be considerably easier than trying to get her cats to behave.
Get Started
Are you new to Once A Month Mom or once a month cooking (oamc) in general? If so, you might want to spend a few minutes (or hours) on the Get Started Series. If you are in a real hurry to catch on we have written some simple steps for getting started. Welcome!

Yes, quinoa carrot breakfast bars.
Is there any trick needed for freezing avocado? I didn’t know that you could do that.
No trick – you can freeze avocado! I have frozen it as baby food many times, and I have seen seen many tips for freezing it on Pinterest.
I’m having difficulty with the recipe cards. I save a copy, adjust to 4 servings and print but the print preview only shows data for the first 2 pages. The remaining are blank. Any help would be great! Thank you :)
You need to make sure you check print all sheets. Follow this post http://onceamonthmom.com/all-menus-saving-printing-google-document-grocery-lists-recipe-cards-instructions/
